Can you say "tired" boys and girls?

What a weekend! Stacy and I just wanted to say thanks to all of our favorite peeps who visited our booth during Scrapfest! We loved seeing you guys again and had so much fun (we even got a little scrapbooking done).

We have a couple of days rest and then its back in the saddle again! We start ordering again on Monday for our next show, CKC in Houston!

Countdown....

Is it time to go to work yet? By work I mean Scrapfest? I am officially at the end of my rope. Two of the four children of the corn home from school sick this week. Doctor on Tuesday. Everyone got swabbed (including me and the baby even though we aren't sick). Results on Wednesday evening.... two kids showing sickly symptoms - not sick. Me - Strep. Nice. Could this be why I am unusually cranky and tired? Whatever. Scrapfest take me away!
Peace out - Melissa

Mom' advice...

Ok, so this is supposed to be our Scrap Addicts blog. You know, business. However I do not have a personal blog so you guys will sometimes have to listen to me rant.

Let me just say that sometimes your mom's advice is not all that bad. Remember when she told you to always wear clean underwear? Uh huh, well, I am just glad I HAD ON underwear yesterday.

Picture this.... you are in line at Winn Dixie. Your 2 year old is in the basket screaming bloody murder and your 4 year old is walking up and down the line you are in asking everyone what their name is and if they know his address. Whatever. You have been waiting in line for 15 minutes now. Apparently, Winn Dixie is giving something away today that you have no knowledge of. It is finally your turn to check out. You have placed all of your items on the belt only to have said 2 year old reach over all pull them off and throw them back in the basket. The 4 year old is pleading with you to buy every piece of chocolate that is at the check out counter. You have lost your patience as well as part of your mind. You move up ever so slightly so that you are standing in front of the card swipe thingy. You are almost home free. Let me remind you that Winn Dixie is super busy. Tons of people checking out in all aisles. At this precise moment, your 4 year old decides he is going to run his hand up the back of your dress and lift it as high as his head. Yes folks, I have now just flashed everyone who is checking out in the lane behind me.

I reacted so fast that I don't think I even thought about it. I spun around faster than a bat out of hell and smacked him in the head. It is amazing his nose didn't fall off. Now, not only am I humiliated because I have flashed everyone but I have now abused my kid in public. Great. Here comes Child Protection Services. I don't even remember loading the groceries into the car or the ride home.

Thank God the day is almost over. At least I can look forward to Idol.

Lemoine - Out.

Yes, I have finally given in!

Well, it's official. I Melissa, (one half of Scrap Addicts) have finally given in to the whole blog thing. It took some time (and a lot of help from my wonderful friends Anna Bess and Kerry), but it's here! Stacy and I will both post to the blog and you can respond to either one of us.

I can't promise that this is going to be the most interesting blog you will read (unless of course I post things that pertain to Stacy's personal life - really, some things ONLY happen to her!). Nor do I promise this thing will be eloquently written (um, I am a Yat you know!). What I do promise is to try and give you some creative ideas, keep you up to date on happenings with Scrap Addicts, show you some new products and every now and then inject a little humor into your day.

So, off we go!

Have you registered for Scrapfest? HELLO! What are you waiting for?? Stacy and I are so excited about this show. Scrapfest was the first show we participated in two years ago. And thanks to you guys, we are still here! If you have not registered already, you need to hop to it! Go to their website www.scrapfestproductions.com to reserve your space!

We have all sorts of "NEW" goodies in the store and we can't wait for you to see them! I am going to try and post a few pics of the new stuff (be patient, you know, new to this blog thing and all). We are also doing two different page layouts for Make-n-Takes. We will have an Easter page layout and a Mardi Gras page layout - each for only $5. (Again... will try and post the sneak peek...)

So please join us next weekend - March 26th, 27th & 28th at Scrapfest for a whole lotta fun!

Oh and don't forget... we started a kit club in January with no membership required. Pop on over to our website www.scrapaddictsonline.com to check out the kit for March.

Well peeps.. that it's for now. Be creative and peace out!
Melissa
